History

Lai industries were established in South Australia in 1969, starting off in a small warehouse in Brompton, South Australia.  

The Current managing director formed part of the partnership of owners that took over the business in 1996, with a group of 18 staff at the Athol Park premises.

Lai Industries has enjoyed substantial growth and is recognized as a highly competitive quality manufacturer of switchboards and associated products in the electrical industry throughout South Australia and beyond.

Lai Industries now are located at their new premises, 17 Circuit Drive Hendon; the move took place in 2005 and has enough space to satisfy present needs and future growth. Now a family owned business, LAI Industries currently has over 70 employees. Our clientele and projects can be found all around South Australia and even interstate.
